Parents often ask “What should I do when…?” I always answer “It is more important how are you, than what you do.” Parenting is difficult. We make mistakes. That’s OK since we can repair with our child after and correct what we do.It is more important that we remain well-regulated, never frightening or frightened, that we remain in control of ourselves and not “flip our lids”.
